Grooming For Dogs

Whether it's a complete groom, or just a freshen up, we have something for every dog. Whilst your dog is with us they are our number one priority. We pride ourselves in making their stay with us as stress free as possible and one that we hope they will find fun. Our grooming salon is open five days a week, so we can fit into even the busiest pet's schedule.

Our Appointment Process

It all starts from the appointment time, each appointment taking between 3 to 4 hours (dependant on breed). We never rush dogs through our grooming processes, instead we give them time to get settled in before having a bath, we then leave them to play with our other puppy clients before hand drying them and then giving them their haircut We will never push them to do anything they don’t want to do and if we see that they are showing any signs of stress, we will stop what we are doing and allow them more time to relax and have fun.

Natural Shampoos

All shampoos we use are some of the most natural, high-quality products available on the market today. We have searched the market place to find our range of products and have engaged with For All Dog Kind.

For All Dog kind shampoos and conditioners are great products using totally natural ingredients. We have found that they are extremely effective at washing and conditioning all types of pet hair.

Our Grooming Services

Puppy Package

Our puppy package is perfect for introducing a small puppy who has been fully vaccinated, to the sights and sounds of a busy grooming salon, so they will have a positive experience and feel happy when being groomed for the rest of their lives. The package is made up of 2 elements, the first is a 1hr session where the puppy will simply play with the other clients we have in and become acclimatised to the grooming environment and of course be given loads of love. The second visit will be a little longer and we will give them a quick wash and puppy trim of their face, paws and hygiene areas. We would recommend starting this package at around 3-4mths old. Puppy’s would then normally have their first full groom from around 6 months old.

Freshen Up

Perfect for your adventurous dirty pups! Two professional washes using our completely natural shampoos, followed by a blow dry and full brush out, all completed by hand. Your pup will also get a hygiene trim and then we finish the groom with a generous spritz of our doggy freshen up spray.

Tidy Up

After a freshen up service, we make sure their nails are cut, hygiene area trimmed, ears cleaned and any unwanted hair from inside their ears removed. We also clip out the excess hair from underneath the pads. Finally to keep your precious pooch looking clean and tidy, we will trim the hair between the eyes and tidy up around the paws.

Complete Groom

A complete groom includes everything in the Tidy Up package. Also included is a hair-cut to breed standard, your personal choice or a more practical cut. If you are unsure of which cut to go for, please ask us which cut would suit your dog or your lifestyle and we will be pleased to advise.

De-Shedding

Ideal for dogs who moult a lot! We wash your dog using one of our high quality natural shampoos, which softens the coat making it easier for the loose hair to come out. We follow this up by a ‘blast’ of the coat using our high velocity dryer, which quite literally blasts all their loose hair all over our bathroom! We then hand dry their coat and brush out any remaining loose hair, leaving a nice shiny finish.

Additional Grooming Services

We offer the following additional services whilst your dog is with us for a groom. Simply choose the services you would like to add and let our groomers know when you bring your dog in. Each service is charged at just £5 or you can choose any 3 services for £12.

Paw Massage

At the end of the grooming session, we will massage each paw with a high quality moisturising paw balm. This treatment moisturises dry and cracked paw pads offering additional protection from damage caused by hot pavement walks in the summer and the affects of ice and salt in the winter.

Paw Sanitising

Using specialist anti-viral, antibacterial and anti fungal product that kills 99.999% of germs, we will sanitise paws leaving them soothed and free from pathogens helping to relieve any irritation and help stop paw licking.

Nose Moisturiser

We will massage their nose using a high quality specialist Nose Balm which will help sooth those dry and cracked noses.

Blueberry & Clove Facial

If you have ever had a facial yourself you will know how nice they are. Now we have one for your dog too. They can benefit from having their face soothed and hydrated with our Blueberry and clove treatment that will also help with removing tear and beard staining afterwards their faces will also smell awesome.

Deshedding Shampoo

If your dog sheds their hair, then this amazing shampoo can seriously help with easing the loose hair out of their coats during their bath, whilst softening the hair follicles reducing future shedding. It also leaves them with an amazing scent .

Nail Grinding

Grinding the dogs nails after clipping will smooth off a lot of the sharp edges left after being clipped.
